Now in its final season together, multi-GRAMMY nominee Spektral Quartet unveils the Chicago premieres of the light that blurred the stars by Eliza Brown (composer) and My River Runs to Thee by Evan Premo (composer, bass), featuring soprano Mary Bonhag and the poetry of Susan Stewart and Emily Dickinson. Complimented by Claude Debussy’s enchanting String Quartet in G minor, this community-spirited experience traces the cyclic nature of existence . . . and the stories we tell in an attempt to find our bearing. Come celebrate this iconic ensemble in one of their final performances!
